Biotrauma Employee & Family Fights ALS!

Wednesday February 11, 2009 – Biotrauma employee Karen Duffy and family have raised more than $17,000.00 for research and programs at Emory University’s ALS Center. Recently, on their website, Emory released an article about her son’s decision to get involved and help find a cure for ALS.

Karen Duffy works in our marketing department here at Biotrauma, spreading the word to families and advocates about our service availability for traumatized families. She has been supportive of her son Brian’s involvement with fund raising for curing ALS and has become very involved herself.

The entire Duffy family have become immersed in the fight, and can often be seen “Running for Life.” They are an inspiration to us all.

Biotrauma to be featured on the Mobile Press Register

Wednesday February 18, 2009 – On February 5th, we released a press release informing advocates in the Southeast that Biotrauma is now serving the State of Alabama. Shortly thereafter, the story was noticed by the Mobile Press Register.

This Sunday, the paper will feature our crime and trauma scene cleaning operation in their business section. As public awareness is crucial to assisting families in the acquisition of closure, we at Biotrauma are happy to be one step closer to that end.

Wednesday March 11, 2009 – The Marines of Biotrauma were featured on WDRW News in Augusta, Monday March 9th. CBS12 associate Shalah Sasse reported on our crime scene cleanup services for families after they have experienced a homicide, suicide, or natural death in the home.
